James Merritt is a London-based illustrator and animator. He likes making work that is bright, bold and fun, but often with a darkly comic edge.

He has experience working across the spectrum of animation and illustration, having worked on Wes Anderson’s Isle of Dogs, music videos for Atlantic Records, and spent a few years working as Technical Advisor in Animation and Digital Media at Goldsmiths, University of London.

James is actively looking to take on more editorial, design and music related projects. His ears are always open to new ideas, and he’d love to hear from you:
